Silicone Oil Concentrate 72045 is an innovative textile softener, which can provide most fabrics with soft, smooth and exquisite handle.It is a multipolymer of polysiloxane, polyether and polyamine, which can evenly penetrate into the inner part of fibers and act on each fiber to improve the performance of the whole fabric.It has linear block copolymer structure, which has good dispersing, diffusing and penetrating performance on fibers.It is especially suitable for ultra soft and fluffy finishing process for cotton, viscose fiber, polyester, polyester/cotton and nylon.Oeko-Tex Standard 100 compliant. High-Concentration Formula & Optimized Logistics
With a 85% solid content, 1 ton of silicone concentrate can be diluted into approximately 5 tons of finished emulsion (at 18% concentration), effectively reducing long-haul freight and warehousing costs.
Technical Guidance & Processing Stability
Compatible with high-shear emulsifying equipment to form stable transparent micro-emulsions or macro-emulsions. It is designed to produce high-stability block silicone emulsions while addressing common industry issues such as oil floating and poor dispersibility.

Silicone Oil Concentrate Instruction
- It is suitable for padding and exhaust process.
- It is high content self-emulsifying block silicone oil. It cannot be directly used on fabrics. So it has to be emulsified and diluted before applying on textiles. It is easy to emulsify and dilute with normal equipment and process.
- Please prepare all the chemicals before making the working solution.
- It is recommended to use softening water (deionized water) to dilute. If no softening water (deionized water), please make a stability test before making the working solution.
- Emulsifying Method:
- Formulation (about 20% microemulsion):
- Silicone Oil 72045: 100
- Diethylene glycol monobutyl ether: 20
- Emulsifier: 10 (Nonionic surfactants BASF To-5 is commonly used.)
- Acetic acid + Water 1: 2 + 50 (Dissolve the acetic acid in the water.)
- Water 2: 318
- (Add preservatives if necessary)
- Total: 500 parts
- Emulsifying Process:
- Stir Silicone Oil 72045 evenly and then use.
- Put Silicone Oil 72045 and Emulsifier into the reaction kettle and stir it fully for 10 minutes, until it is evenly.
- Slowly add Acetic acid + Water 1 and stir it fully and evenly for 10 minutes.
- Add about 1/10 Water 2 and stir it fully for 10 minutes. (If it becomes hard gel, add a small amount of water to ensure that it is thoroughly mixed.)
- Add about 1/10 Water 2 and stir it fully for 5 minutes.
- Add about 1/5 Water 2 and stir it fully for 5 minutes.
- Add about 1/5 Water 2 and stir it fully for 5 minutes.
- Add the rest Water 2 and stir it fully for 5 minutes.
- Place it for defoam and filter. Adjust the pH value to 4~6 by a proper amount of acetic acid. The transparent microemulsion is obtained.
- Formulation (about 20% microemulsion):

- For light and thin fabric, reference dosage: 10~20 g/L
- For heavy and thick fabric, reference dosage: 20~30 g/L
- The best pH range of working solution: 6.0~7.0
- Padding and dipping (Pickup: 70~90%) → 160~170℃×60~90 seconds
- Exhaust Process:
- Reference dosage: 0.5~1.0% (o.w.f)
- Bath ratio: 1:20
- Process: 40~50℃×10~20 minutes → Dewater → Drying (100~120℃)
